Order Management and Analytics in One

If you’re constantly asking questions about unusual trends in your inventory—rest assured you’re not alone.  It’s that inquisitive, analytical drive that went into OMX, an order management program from Order Motion. It includes all the ins and outs of your average order entry and inventory management system. But the highlight of this web-based application is its data analytics platform. A visual dashboard displays metrics that may give you some insight on how your day-to-day operations are affecting your bottom line.  Order Motion is more widely known for its CRM system, but the OMX is a little-known gem that’s putting people in sync with their order processes.

The OMX dashboard features configurable, role-based widgets. Each widget provides analytical information and creates a to-do list of sorts. These action items are based on concrete analytic information such as customer buying behavior and best-selling items. Knowing what your customers prefer allows you to make better marketing decisions. For example, the “stats” widget will continually provide information on top-selling items over a 30-day time period. You can increase inventory based on the data or drive a more rigorous advertising campaign. A “snapshot” widget will give you information on in-stock items. You can see what items are running low on your inventory list and make plans to re-order. This kind of preemptive behavior can help you avoid backordered items and less-than-favorable reviews from your customers. Once you have the information you need, you can create a report on your own or have Order Motion’s professional services team draw one up for you.  Reports are available 24/7.

The OMX application manages all the components of mail order, including payment processing, fulfillment and inventory management. Customer service reps can also get in on the fun with a special customer service widget. Phone orders, quotes, order statuses and more can be managed with the application.
