If you’re the owner of an iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Pocket PC or Palm phone, Bill4Time Mobile allows you to take your time tracking and billing software wherever you go.
Bill4Time Mobile is completely synched in real-time to your Bill4Time account online, so that any changes you make will show up on your Bill4Time account instantly. Your Bill4Time account information can be stored and organized by client and project. Instead of scribbling in a notebook or carrying around a pocketful of paper scraps, you can record your billable hours directly to your account from your phone. Add an entry by simply opening the application on your phone and selecting the project you want to apply it to. Bill4Time allows you to record your labor and travel time separately. You can document details and set-up fees for each entry as well. All of the information is calculated and transferred to your Bill4Time account. But unlike many of the other mobile time trackers, Bill4Time doesn’t offer a timer widget. With Bill4Time, you must watch the clock and manually enter your time, every time.
Bill4Time Mobile can also pull up any past projects, invoices and payments that are saved to your account. With the Bill4Time calendar, you can add and edit appointments on the fly. And once you’re done with an appointment you’ve saved on your calendar, you can convert it into billable hours with a press of the button.
Between restaurant receipts and parking garage stubs, the cost of working remotely can add up quickly. With Bill4Me Mobile you can manage your expenses as they’re happening. To log an expense, you simply open the Bill4Time app on your phone, select the project that it pertains to and insert the details, including a date, cost, markup and any notes. The information is calculated and saved in the expenses section of your Bill4Time account.
Many have raved about the convenience of the Bill4Time Mobile application. And the Bill4Time online application isn’t too shabby either. With a Bill4Time account you can do things such as create custom invoices, compile detailed reports and even import your Bill4Time accounting information directly into QuickBooks. While the Bill4Time Mobile app may be free, it won’t work without a Bill4Time account. For users with less than three clients and no need for custom invoices, you can get away with the free version. But for those of you with a bigger client base and branded invoices, you’re going to have to cough up some bucks for the service.
